Take-Out Salad had nutrition values for its ingredients, but customers needed a simple way to combine their choices and understand the total. A static list or spreadsheet would make every meal a small mathematics exam. Nobody ordered lunch for that.
I converted the supplied ingredient data into a branded web application with searchable categories, quantity controls, half-serving dressing logic, instant totals and safeguards against accidental duplicate selections.
Customers can open the calculator from a phone or QR code, build a bowl and immediately see the combined calories and macros. Take-Out Salad now has a customer-facing tool that matches its brand and menu.
Customers can browse bases, toppings, proteins and dressings, or search the full ingredient list.
Clear controls support normal servings, multiple portions and half-serving dressing choices.
Calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat recalculate immediately as the bowl changes.
The customer can fine-tune the meal, remove selections or clear the bowl and start again.
